The Order of Confederate Rose is an independent Southern heritage organization. Begun in Alabama in 1993, the Tennessee Society was formed in 2004. Our primary purpose is to assist our Southern brothers - the Sons of Confederate Veterans in their projects and activities. We are a historical, educational, non-profit organization named in honor of Rose O'Neal Greenhow, also called "Confederate Rose."

OCR Chapter #10 meets in a combined meeting with
The Gainesboro Invincibles, SCV Camp # 1685. For information regarding meeting times and location, please email us. Our OCR chapter is named to honor a feisty local lady, Mary Ann Christian Lock, whose husband served the South while she protected their home and family, at one time even running off US soldiers at gunpoint who invaded their home.
